The Neuros Link is a device that can be connects to a television via an HDMI cable and can stream Web video to any HD display. The Neuros Link needs a broadband connection and little else: there is no subscription fee, because the device brings in free content from the Internet.

As well as the software can streams your own video, audio and photos from other computers over the TV and plays them back at 1080p resolution with 6-channel audio. It includes an optical audio output and 802.11g Wi-Fi as well as a remote keyboard for easy content browsing.

The box costs $299, and the software and interface is completely open source.

The iRecord Pro is easy to use and it works with a variety of devices, featuring all video-capable iPods, the iPhone, the PSP and the Walkman. It also has audio-only recording and can be used to record to your pc (Mac or Windows).

The Archos 605 WiFi is as elegantly conceived as anything we’ve seen from Apple and Sony. Measuring 4.75 inches wide, 3.25inches tall and just a hair more than a half-inch thick, the 605 it’s big enough to do video justice, also small and thin enough to perfectly fit in your pockets. The recessed 4.3-inch TFT LCD screen is very bright, colorful and glare-resistant, but it displays at a resolution of 800×480. The portable audio player also has top-notch video resolution, incredible viewing angles and integrated support of wireless movie downloads. The Archos 605 WiFi is the best of its breed.

The bad: Battery life is only average. Many users will need to shell out extra for software and hardware accessories they’ll wish were included.

Toshiba R600 is 0.77 inches thick and lightweight 2.4 pounds laptop, which also features a DVD-SuperMulti drive. R600 owners don’t have to give their optical drive for portability’s sake.

The R600 can run seven and a half hours on its battery and features a 12,1-inch diagonal widescreen display. The price is $2,100 and the laptop offers a 160-gigabyte hard drive. The R600 also comes with technology that continuously check battery life and CPU temperatures. This gadget is with very similar design to DMP(Dual Music Player). I wrote about him a month ago. The PDP(Portable DVD Player) acts as a DVD Player by opening the candybar and inserting your favourite DVD.

The design is made by Yeon-shin Seung who also using the sony full color flexible organic display that is very thin and lightweight.

Finaly all of us who use these iPods have the ability to change the font color of the title bar, main menu and secondary font color. We can do that thanks to the omfgkm who is Apprentice iPodder @ ipodwizard.net. Try the tweaks below for yourself and you will be convinced how good a iPod can look like.

CHANGING YOUR MENU FONT COLOR - 1-BIT FONTS ONLY

* Open iPW, load your firmwire.

* Go to Layout, scroll down to Font Types.

* In that list, go down to item 24222.

* Now look at the z2 tag. It should say 0xFF000000. Click on it and change the first three digit * series from 00 00 00 to DD 00 00.

* Go to the fontID tag, and click on it. On the right, click the “Decimal” select button.

* Back to the left, in the editing textbox, type in the String ID for the font you want to change to. To find this, click the Strings tab and look for the list of fonts in Language Block 24. Pick one, and punch in the 5-digit number into the fontID tag.

* Write your iPod, eject, and look. Your menu text is now red! However, you won’t have the same font. This is currently the only way to change your menu font color.

FONT RESOURCE TWEAKS EXPLAINED

* fontID - Changes where the given resource looks for the font in question. 24124 is Podium Sans, etc.

* z1 - Not sure yet–will experiment.

* Font Size - Self-explanatory. For God’s sake, though, check the Fonts section and make sure that size exists for the font you want to change. Example: Podium Sans has 14, 16, 18, 22, 28. Those numbers will work. Others may not, and can brick you, causing you to have to return to iPW and change it back.

* z2 - Color–hex format. Click HERE for a quick and decent hex color table.

* z3 - Justification–0×1 for Left, 0×101 for Center (perfect to use with the menu text for easy centered menus!), 0×201 for Right. There are a few resources that use 0×200, but I don’t feel like getting into all that, not right now.
