As cell phones become more of an entertainment device than just a phone, it only makes sense that technology would evolve along with the growing industry. Up until now, cell phone users have listened to music on their cell phones at sub par quality. Cell phones produce a tinny sound that is not very pleasing. Also, music on a cell phone can only get so loud. Let’s face it. Cell phones are exactly meant to be boom boxes.
Realizing the need for technology to adapt to cell phones, Logitech created the Pure-Fi Mobile Portable Stereo System. Owners of the loudspeaker can enjoy music from the speaker instead of the phone. That is, the music is streamed from the phone to the speaker, giving listeners a much better platform to enjoy their favorite songs. This was made possible by Bluetooth technology, so the system is completely wireless.
Besides the ability to listen to music, users can also make phone calls from the speaker. The speaker itself has a button to end calls on it, in case the phone is out of reach. The speaker also has two microphones built into it, so phone calls are clear and easy to hear.
The Pure-Fi Mobile Portable Stereo System will be available this June. It is sure to make an impact on cell phone technology, as it will be a must have for many cell phone users.
