Sony has finally announced an OLED Walkman, the Walkman X Series, to go on sale in Japan next week. The cost of OLED is little expensive, $400. The OLRD Walkman is smaller than an iPod touch at three inches, the 16-gigabyte or 32-gig models, dressed up in glossy black or red, will incorporate wireless, a Web browser, and “hybrid” operation with a touch-panel and a few important buttons. A FM tuner is built in, as is some noise-cancellation circuitry.
